My History

I’m Maria Sol Ressia, a tattoo artist and oil painter originally from Salta, Argentina, now based in Miami. My style blends the natural world with urban influences, a fusion shaped by my upbringing in Buenos Aires. Throughout my career, I’ve had the honor of participating in international tattoo conventions, winning awards, and being invited as a judge at some events. My artwork has been exhibited at prestigious shows around the world, including Art Basel in Miami, as well as in New York, Qatar, Buenos Aires, and Miami.

For me, art is a powerful way to connect with others, share my emotions, and express my vision. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to create and leave a meaningful mark through every tattoo and painting. I invite you to join me on this creative journey, where each piece is a reflection of my passion and soul.

My Style

My style merges the human form with nature, exploring freedom and the limitations of thought. In my latest series, “Se me voló la cabeza”, I depict a human head transforming into a bird to symbolize how we impose mental barriers on ourselves due to fear, shame, or shyness. The bird represents freedom, showing the potential to break free from these limitations and pursue our true desires. Each painting I create reflects my emotions and thoughts at that moment in time. Every brushstroke is filled with love and dedication, as my art aims to share a piece of my soul, not just decorate a space.

My Tatoo Style

With over 12 years of experience as a tattoo artist, I have had the opportunity to master various tattoo techniques, including traditional, neotraditional, full color, black and grey, small tattoos, and large pieces. Over the years, I have developed a true passion for blending realism with neotraditional details, creating unique and vibrant designs.
